Nico Caraballo

Nico is a natural born public servant and thought leader. In second grade, his teacher called him “the philosopher”, which is something that always resonated with and guided him, eventually leading to his desire to help people and solve problems. It is this very desire to help people and solve problems that has led Nico to a distinguished career in nonprofit development and management, where he was responsible for raising over $100 Million dollars for various organizations throughout New Jersey and nationally. Nico’s desire to help people and solve problems also led to his political involvement where he has done everything from canvassing and working with constituents, to managing campaigns and developing strategy.
He has used his work in both nonprofits and politics to maximize his impact and achieving the overarching goal in his life. Now, Nico is extremely excited to be involved in fulfilling Catchafire’s mission through its transformational work, and helping nonprofits build their capacity to serve. In his spare time, you will find Nico enjoying a good soccer match either in person at Red Bull Arena (he is a die hard fan of the Red Bulls) or on tv with the clubs that he follows, being engrossed in music (listening or singing), or doing something travel or foodie related (he loves to cook and travel the world).
